What’s to come?
YandereDev writes: “YandereDev: I’m not sure if we’ll see this, but I’d like to explore the idea of other girls killing people other than Senpai.
Senpai, for all intents and purposes, is an “actor”. In reality, he’s a normal guy living a normal life. But he is a fictional character who enjoys the attention and adoration of the only girl he’s ever been infatuated with. For him, what “Himeji-san” does is the equivalent of a celebrity fan club. She’s a very important part of his life, and he adores her.
This is starting to sound a lot like a relationship drama, doesn’t it?
Yandere (ヤンデレ) is a Japanese term for a person who is initially very loving and gentle to someone (or at least innocent) before their devotion becomes destructive in nature, often through violence and/or brutality. Yandere characters are mentally unstable, and are sometimes incredibly deranged and not mentally sane, often using extreme violence and/or brutality as an outlet for their emotions.
The term is derived from the words yanderu (病んでる) meaning a mental or emotional illness, and deredere (でれでれ) meaning to show affection.
