Punk personality type is ISTP, but this is a case where I don't know how much the ISTP style influences the type.
I still don't think he's an ISTP, but I can see how someone who is a type in the ISTP stack, in his own way, would be a punk.
The ISTP in him is a lot of a punk in a lot of ways. There is a certain carefree attitude that he has that is very punk. I think this is really more of a matter of perception or just what you see with punk music and punk people.
In the same way that you can see what you want in any kind of music, there's just this attitude about "I don't care if the world ends, I'm gonna have fun until it does" that is very punk. ISTP is not, by any means, totally anti-social; it's just that carefree attitude that I see in punk music that ISTP has. I really think that there's no way an ISTP could be like this. For an ISTP to be like this would be like saying "I'm acting like an ENTJ, but I'm actually an ESTP.
