8chan personality type is ENTP, which is the same as /tg/.
I am not an expert in ENTPs, and I don't know how to diagnose what kind of personality type I am, but I've always had a general idea of what an ENTP is like and I think that the ENTP is what /tg/ is like. I don't know if that's true or not, but the ENTP is the only personality type I could find on the internet that was listed as having a lot of common traits with /tg/.
I'm not an ENTP. I'm an INTJ. But I'm pretty sure that /tg/ is like an ENTP. Or at least they're in the same ballpark.
Even though I do not believe myself to be an ENTP, I agree with the general idea that the internet is full of them and that they're "self-indulgent and inane".
For what it's worth: I'm a F-type, and I'm probably more of a "self-indulgent and inane" introvert than the average person.
