Personality Cafe personality type is INFP, and I think I am a pretty typical INFP. I am not particularly extroverted, but I do enjoy socialising and meeting new people. I am a very emotional person, and I get upset when I feel sad or hurt. I always want to be close to people, and I hate being alone. I am very sensitive to other people's emotions, and I can tell when people are lying just by their facial expressions and body language.
I tend to use the same 'style' of conversation with people: I ask them questions, and then listen to their answers, and then I talk about my feelings and emotions with them. I find that this is a good way for me to get comfortable with people, and to make sure that they are comfortable with me. One of the things that really annoys me is when someone I am talking to is sarcastic with me, or angry with me for no apparent reason. I hate it when people say things like "What do you think?" or "You're a smart girl, don't you think?". What they mean by that is "You're a stupid girl, aren't you?". I hate that.
