Her mother died when she was younger, and her father was an introverted engineer. She had an older sister named Abby, who was more like her father. She never had any friends, like the other children in her area, which caused her to be rather lonely. When she was young, her father would make her read books to him; not only did he like reading, but he also liked discussing books with his daughter. She loved it when he would do this, and she soon learned how to make him laugh. She was a little girl who loved reading and discussing literature, and it made her really happy to share her passion with her father.
