Altaïr also shares the role of protagonist with Ezio Auditore da Firenze in Assassin's Creed: Revelations, and he is playable once in Assassin's Creed II. He was generally well received by critics and gamers alike, although Philip Shahbaz's voice-over performance was widely derided.
