I personally see no problem with INFPs making jokes in that context.
What I don't like is when they make jokes without knowing the consequences of it. INFPs are usually very sensitive people who don't like hurting others' feelings. That's why INFPs really need to think about the consequences of their actions before they make jokes.
If you're an INFP and you have a problem with other people laughing at your jokes without knowing the consequences of it, you may notice that you will never get along with the more joker type personalities. They will constantly leave you alone because they don't like being laughed at in general.
