Perceptor personality type is ISTJ, ENTJ and ESTJ – don’t ask why – and INTJ – the most analytical of the bunch – we just happen to have our favorite type.
We didn’t realize this for a long time, but we’re both ISTJs. My husband is more of a dreamer, and I am more of a planner. He’s the one who gets up early to work on the farm, and I stay up late to write. For most of our marriage, we didn’t see eye to eye on how to best accomplish things, and we both felt like the other was wrong. That’s why we both eventually decided to take a personality test that would tell us which one we were. We were both surprised to discover that we were the same type, and it wasn’t until we were living together for a year and had explored our differences that we realized we were ISTJs. We immediately saw ourselves as compatible and began making plans to unite our households.
The irony is that we now agree with each other more than ever before.
It turns out that as ISTJs, we both like the same things.
