I have a very strong connection with music, and have been writing songs since I was a kid. When I got a little older, I started playing the guitar and singing. My first record was a cover of a song by R.E.M. called “Low,” but I’ve been writing original songs ever since.
My original songs are, for the most part, about love, heartache, and dealing with life as an adult. In my experience, that’s what life is all about. And as a kid, that’s as far as my imagination went. But as I got older, I realized self-expression was the only thing that mattered to me, and music became a way for me to express myself.
I’m not a great musician or performer, but I do believe in the power of music. That’s why I write and record my own music. It’s also why I try to get my message out there in the best way I know how.
I love to write poetry and short stories, and try to release at least one new short story every year.
