Andrei's son, Vanya, was born after the fall of the Soviet Union. He is a very intelligent, passive and emotional ESTP. His father is his only real influence, although he has many friends. He is secretly in love with his cousin, Marina. In the movie he is captured by the KGB and tortured. The only escape is to volunteer to be a spy for the CIA.
