The ISTP is also interested in science, and will be able to do well in various scientific specialties, including engineering and medicine.
However, the ISTP will probably have problems with math and analytical thinking, in which the SP type is extremely good at. This is because the SP type is most interested in abstractions, while the ISTP is most interested in people and emotions.
The ISTP needs to be careful not to begin to “think like a Seer” or let his thinking become too analytical. When an ISTP begins to think like a Seer, he makes two bad mistakes:
