He is also one of the most powerful characters in the series, along with Fuu.
He is also a very loyal person, as seen when he was willing to hand himself over to Natsu in order to protect her and the other mages that fought alongside them. He also showed great concern for his friends after they were captured by Zeref, helping to save them from the darkness within.
