Bonkers D. Bobcat personality type is ENFP, and he and I were in a relationship for a few months before breaking up. I was a manic depressive and he was very nice, caring and understanding. I was not. My personality type at the time was an ENFP. In fact, I was probably more of a NF than an ENFP because my mood swings were so bad that I would go from being so full of life to being so sad and depressed in a matter of days. This was not because I didn't have enough sleep, or because I wasn't eating enough, or because I hadn't been getting enough exercise. It was because I was a manic depressive and my moods were so bad at the time that it was hard for me to function properly.
In my case, it was all about types. I know that there are people who are also manic depressive that do not use their moods as a means of self-destruction. There are people who are manic depressive that can get by without hurting themselves or others. But the fact is, the majority of people who are manic depressive do hurt themselves and/or others - and they do it in a very obvious way.
