The Planets by Mary Shelley
I read this book in a week, and I loved every minute of it. It's a fantastic, disgusting, disturbing, beautiful book. It's about a scientist who builds a machine that takes his wife from him. It's about a man who thinks he's a god and a man who thinks he's a beast. It's about what happens when one of the men gets his wish.
I loved it because it was just so much fun to read. I could just keep reading it over and over again. I loved the way Frankenstein was written. I loved the way Mary Shelley wrote. I loved her style of writing. She's just incredible.
