How old were you when you realized you wanted to be a writer?
I was about seventeen when I started making up scripts for my friends and family. I’d been writing stories since before I could spell, having been born with an absolute obsession for the written word. (I was actually born with a propensity for reading, not writing.)
How did you get started with writing?
I’ve always been a huge reader and fan of writing, but when I found that it wasn’t like reading a book, where you can go back to the beginning and just enjoy a story, but instead it was like going through the process of creating it, I started to really become interested in the process of creating something. So when I found that I could actually do it, I decided to try it.
What’s your favorite genre to write?
Probably my favorite is mysteries. My first novel, The Nightmare Room, was a mystery. The second, A Maze of Death, was a paranormal romance. The third, A Murderous Obsession, is both a mystery and a suspense thriller.
