History
Desmond's early life was a mystery to him, but it's known that his father was a member of the Osmosian Elite. In the present, however, Desmond is a respected archaeologist and explorer, who has been making his living by exploring ancient ruins and retrieving ancient artifacts from the depths of the ocean, eons before The First Civilization was thought to have existed.
In his youth, he was trained by a man named Erickson, who taught him how to survive in the sea and prepare himself for the dangers that lay within. After a while, he met a woman named Sarah, whom he fell in love with and soon after, they got married. They had a daughter named Alli. At some point, Desmond was captured by a group of mercenaries from the Poseidon Institute, who wanted him to join their ranks. He managed to escape from them and was rescued by Sarah. He also found out that Erickson had been killed during the ordeal. He asked Sarah to get him a ship and go to the mainland. But she refused due to her fear of the oceans.
Desmond is a tertiary antagonist in Barbie in The 12 Dancing Princesses. He was the faithful servant of Duchess Rowena, and he is voiced by Garry Chalk.
