Ayelet Shaked personality type is ISTJ, he is also a Zionist Jew, that was troubling to many people. His views on the kind of leadership that would be most beneficial to Israeli society were not shared by many Israelis.
Given that he is the Minister of Justice, I cannot imagine that her views on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict are likely to be any different.
It was recently revealed that Ayelet Shaked served as the director of the Israeli Law Enforcement Coordination Office (LECO), which oversees security coordination between Israel and Palestinian Authority (PA) controlled areas.
The most troubling thing is that the LECO was established by Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the very ministry that Ayelet Shaked now leads. This means that she has been involved with Israel’s security apparatus for years, which is not necessarily a good thing.
Given that her background makes her sympathetic to the Palestinian side of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, she may have been able to effect positive change in Israeli security policy, but instead she chose to perpetuate this country’s colonial policies.
For example, if the PA had refused to cooperate with Israel’s security apparatus, there would have been no need for LECO.
Ayelet Shaked is an Israeli politician from the Yamina party, who served as Israel's Minister of Justice from 2015 to 2019. Prior to entering politics, she worked as a software engineer. She holds bachelor degrees in computer science & electrical engineering.
