Her other best friend is Lauren, who is in the same class with them both, but she is attending a nearby college. She has a boy friend named Kevin, who has just moved in with his father nearby because his mother died. Kevin's father has a motorcycle club named Satan's Slaves.
Helena's other best friend is Jessica, who is in the same class with her, but attends college in another town. Jessica plans to get revenge on her rival by getting Helena to fall in love with Kevin. Jessica convinces her to go on a date with Kevin after school one day.
On their date, Kevin tells Helena that he has always liked her and that if she does not like him, he will not force her to do anything. He kisses her and they go back to his house. They kiss again and then Kevin says that they cannot hide away like this anymore.
