LePhetoe fell in love with cosplay at the age of 11 when she dressed as a character from Dragon Ball Z. She has been cosplaying ever since, and she’s found that cosplay has helped her overcome many personal issues.
She cosplayed as Sailor Moon for the first time in 2010 at her high school graduation. It was a way to celebrate her youth and to show others that they should always look forward to the future.
After graduating high school, she went to college and became a graphic designer. She took the usual classes like graphic design and print design, but she also took classes in film production and photography.
LePhetoe took an art class that she describes as “super fun” where her professor would bring in pieces of paper and ask her to design something. She would draw what she saw and create a new piece of art.
