I was an ENTP for 30 years, but that journey led me to discover my true type. I've been living as an INFP since 2015.
I only recently began to understand how my type has shaped my life. I found myself always questioning everything I did, analyzing everything I said, and over-analyzing every experience.
I was not living the life I wanted to live.
A year ago, I had a breakthrough. I realized that many of my old habits were due to my type. I realized I was living my life backwards, trying to label myself before I could be myself.
I had to take responsibility for who I am and what I do, instead of always blaming all my shortcomings on external circumstances. I finally understood that if I want to live the life I want to live, it's up to me to make the changes I need to make.
It's all about self-love.
I'm not saying that it's okay to let others make you feel inadequate or like your decisions don't matter.
