She has a deep spiritual connection with nature and the wilderness. She loves the idea of the interconnectedness of all living things.
In college, Persephone's determination to do something with her life lead her to become a ranger at a local national park. She loves her job and is very passionate about protecting the wilderness from humans encroaching on wild areas.
