The first episode of Digimon Xros Wars, Daisuke Hirose became a DigiDestined and at first he was not too sure of what he had gotten himself into, but he became quite excited after meeting up with the others. He immediately started training with the others to be able to help them fight against the Dark Masters. Daisuke Hirose is also very emotional and has a very big heart, as shown when his partner, Gomamon, was put in danger by the Dark Masters because of his emotional nature. Daisuke Hirose did not like to see Gomamon in pain and he was willing to do anything in order to protect him.
