Leigh Shaw personality type is ISFP, the artist.
I was fortunate that I was not quite as obsessed with ballet as some of my peers, but that didn't stop me from performing in the school's production of "The Nutcracker" (or, as I like to call it, "The Nutcraker"). From this experience, I learned that I had a natural affinity for acting.
After high school, I went on to study theatre at the University of Guelph. While there, I was selected to play supporting roles in several productions. I found myself working with actors who were more than capable of carrying the main role, but I felt that they were too self-conscious about their own talents. They would not allow their own strengths to shine through, and they were afraid to risk failure. This made me feel inadequate. I felt inadequate, even though I had the same abilities as they did.
My biggest regret was that I felt unable to use my strengths on a regular basis. I felt too afraid to expose myself on a stage, afraid to take a risk and fail, afraid to expose my true self to the world.
