Sebastian personality type is ENFP, but in fact I am more ENTP. I didn't want to go into the details of my other type, because I don't think it's particularly relevant in this context, but it's a known type of mine. I've written about it before.
Like I said, I'm not a career programmer, and I've never been one. But I do have a little bit of knowledge of how organizations function, and I've read tons of books on management theory, organizational behavior, and human relations. I have a wide breadth of knowledge about the way things work. This can be extremely useful when you decide to try to fix or improve things.
(This is really important to me, so I'll repeat it: I don't want anyone to think I'm some kind of "management consultant," or anything like that. I'm not a career consultant, and my advice is definitely not intended for organizations. This is for people who want to improve their own organization.)
