Alien personality type is ESTP, which is what I was before I became a mother. I don’t know if I’d call my experience “a life-changing event,” but it changed my life forever.
I would be lying if I said I didn’t have any regrets about the way things played out between myself and my ex later on. I did. I also had some regrets about the way things played out with my ex prior to that. If I was asked to look back on my life at that time, I would have to say that the regrets are outweighed by the positive experiences. To this day, I have no regrets about the fact that I gave birth to my son.
The one thing that really stands out in my memory of that time is how hard it was for me to feel so separated from him. I felt so alone, so disconnected from him. I remember reading, in some article or other, that being a mother is the hardest job in the world. I think it’s fair to say that it is even harder than people think. It has its moments of joy, but it also includes moments of pure hell.
