Lipe Ribeiro personality type is ESTP, and I see a lot of ESTP in this guy. He’s a very straightforward, strong-willed person, and when he speaks, he doesn’t hold back. He says what he thinks and does what he thinks is the right thing to do. It’s a big personality role to play in a band, I’d imagine.
That can be a bit of a challenge for a band that is trying to maintain a level of creative control over their music. I guess that’s why they have a lead singer.
I don’t think they have a problem with creative control. I think they’re just realists about the whole industry and how it works. Some bands have been really good at winning over the industry. They’ve been able to get their music out there, and it’s been successful, so then they’re like: “Okay, we can do whatever we want and be indie and be on our own label and do whatever we want. We don’t have to play by the same rules as everyone else.”
