O-Ikoma-San had her own harem of male servants, including a young man named Sakai Hidesato. One day, O-Ikoma-San was caught drinking sake with Sakai Hidesato. The daimyo was enraged, but more so due to the fact that Sakai Hidesato was his mistress' son.
Osakabehime is a figure in Japanese folklore. She is described as a yōkai inhabiting Himeji Castle. A Kabuki play based on her story is considered one of the Shin-Kabuki Jūhachiban.
