Marcelo Ríos personality type is ISTP, according to the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). (I like my Jung and Myers and Briggs, but still think it’s a bunch of bunk.)
Ríos has an ISTP personality type, which is the least extraverted of all the 16 types. ISTP's are known as “the thinker” because they like to analyze and clarify before acting. They tend to be good at solving problems, and they're often quite calm and collected.
Ríos also has an INFJ personality type, which is one of the most introverted of all the 16 types. INFJs are known as "the perceivers" because they prefer to define a problem first and then come up with a solution. INFJs are very good at intuition and problem solving. That's why Ríos embraces his “Ego” role on social media. He's a natural at being a "thought leader" for the sport of BMX.
Ríos is a strong advocate of women’s BMX. In fact, for some time now he has been using his celebrity to effect positive change in BMX.
