I'm not sure if the INFJ personality type is the authority personality, but I'm fairly certain it's one of the ones described in the Myers-Briggs book. INFJ is also described in the book as being "Intuitive", "Focused", "Dominating", "Analytical", "Caring", "Feminine", "Passionate", "Independent", and "Protective".

INFJs are intuitive, focused, dominating, analytical, caring, feminine, passionate, independent, and protective. They are often described as quiet and reserved, which is why they are often thought of as the "Counselor" personality. However, INFJs are also very dynamic and can be very forceful in their desire to express themselves or their concerns. They enjoy helping others and bring a great deal of personal interest and enthusiasm to their work, but they can become frustrated when people don't respond to their help with appreciation or gratitude.
Bernard John Taupin is an English-American songwriter. He is best known for his long-term collaboration with Elton John, having written the lyrics for most of John's songs. In 1967, Taupin answered an advertisement placed in the music paper New Musical Express by Liberty Records, a company that was seeking new songwriters. John responded to the same advertisement and they were brought together, collaborating on many projects since. Taupin and John were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1992.
