For some reason, he can't stand constructive criticism or criticism that makes him think about his work in a new way. He'd rather just take it out on the next person who criticizes him.
2. He likes to be the center of attention.
Neil's not the kind of person who gets off on being alone or low-key or anything like that. He needs to be the center of attention all the time. Sometimes it works out fine, but other times...well...
