Early life
After his parents divorced he moved in with his father who was a movie director. He lived in Los Angeles, California, where he attended school until the age of 12. During his teenage years he became very interested in martial arts and began training in Tae Kwon Do.
At the age of 15 his father was killed in a plane crash in Mexico. They were filming a movie in El Paso, Texas when the plane went down. His father was not wearing his seat belt when the plane went down. He died when the plane crashed into the building where they were doing their filming.
After that, he moved in with his mother in New York City.
