Frank Darbo / Crimson Bolt personality type is ISTJ, which is why I initially assumed that he was a Mystical-type. I also assumed that he was a type that could be influenced by magic.
Not really, but it’s a possibility. I’m not sure how that would work.
So the next question is, if magic can be used to influence the mind of a person, then why doesn’t magic influence people like it does with me and Darnell?
I think it’s because of their personality type. You see, people who are ISTJ or ISTP personality types are very good at holding on to their own emotions, especially negative ones. It’s because of this that they can be influenced by magic. Darbo is a prime example of this. He’s very good at holding onto his emotions, and so he can be influenced by magic.
Is the Crimson Bolt trait innate?
It depends on the individual. Darbo himself has it because of his ISTJ personality type, but many others have it too.
