I’m the only female in my family and I forget what it was like to be a girl. I had a lot of pressure and pressure to become a man and I’m not a very girly girl. I am more like a man and I like to do things that are manly. I like to be outside and work on cars and that kind of stuff. I am more like a man than a woman.
I am pissed off about my parents. They don’t support me and they make me feel like I am not good enough, like I am wasting their time, like I never did anything right.
I get angry when people make fun of me for being a girl. It makes me feel like I am a second class citizen just because my parents are in a certain profession…my parents are in a very high-paying profession. I want to be in my parents’ profession just as much as they want to have their own, but it is hard for them to have my career at the same time.
I have been trying to get my parents to understand that real people, not just boys, they can be girls too.
