The last point is her sense of time. Under normal circumstances, she would have been able to make a decision about the nature of the story long ago. But with her condition, she can’t be sure of time or how much time is left.
We can all relate to that feeling of not knowing how much time is left on the clock, or feeling that the clock is running out. We’ve all felt that before.
This means that even if she did work on the game, she would still have to be careful about how long she worked on it. She could get so absorbed in the game world that she wouldn’t realize when the clock ran out.
Thus, I’ve assumed that she has to take things slowly, and not work on the game for too long. If she did get too absorbed in it, she would be risking her sanity.
I’m sure that this is something that she can accept, rather than something that would cause her great stress.
