They are more easily diagnosed with bipolar disorder than others because they do not have the ability to hide their emotions. My first experience with it was at age 14 when I had my first depressive episode.
I loved it so much that I went back to the same doctor for 10 years to check on my progress and he told me I was doing well. It was so easy to talk to him and he knew exactly what to do. He was also so concerned about what I was going through and he really helped me. It helped me so much but it also led me to believe I was never going to get better.
About 2 years later at 16 years old I started having manic episodes. My moods would change so fast and I was so angry all the time. In the beginning it didn’t even really bother me that much because I just thought it was normal.
