Dash personality type is ESFJ, so the only thing I have to do is apply for a job and wait for a call from a manager.
The only downside to this approach is that I have to actually take action and go through the application process. If I want a job, I have to use the resources available to me. If I want a promotion, I have to show initiative.
If I could wave a magic wand, I’d ask for this job to be assigned to me without me actually performing any work or putting forth any effort. But as I’ve said before, there is no such sugar-coated fairy dust in the world.
If you’ve been following my blog for any length of time, you know how I feel about doing things by proxy (taking advantage of someone else’s time or labor). And I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not good at delegating responsibility. But, on the other hand, I don’t like to do things that I don’t like doing.
So if I can avoid taking one step of action (letting an application be submitted), I will.
