AURORA – Lucky personality type is ISFJ, according to a new study from researchers at the University of British Columbia.
The study, published in the journal Personality and Individual Differences, claims ISFJ individuals are more likely to be more optimistic and positive about the future.
“I’m not surprised at all. ISFJs have a lot of the traits we were looking for,” said author and UBC psychology professor Paul Costa. “They’re trusting, they’re loyal, they’re easy going, they’re optimistic – they’re really good at what they do.”
Paul Costa is an associate professor with the UBC Okanagan campus in Kelowna, who was intrigued by the topic of personality types after hearing a presentation by author and blogger Sam Gosling, who described ISFJs as “the most popular personality type in the world.”
“It’s like catnip for me to look at personality type,” said Costa. “It’s the one thing that can predict everything about you.”
