The truth behind type is that personality type is not a set of traits that a person has and then decides to act in a certain way (or not act in all cases), but rather a range of possibilities, each of which are equally plausible for all personalities. And, as with every personality type, there are many ways to be ENFJ.
But if it’s possible for an ENFJ to be a bit more assertive, that doesn’t mean they’re not the most caring and helpful people you’ll ever meet. The story goes that an ENFJ once said “I feel like I was born to do this job!” and the interviewer said “Well someone has to do it!” (And, as with everything, this story is probably apocryphal, but still).
The world would be a better place if we all had a little bit of ENFJ in us!
