I love that the narrator of this album is female, because I feel like it has a very subjective, intimate sound. It's not hard to tell what the narrator is talking about, but I think that's part of the reason it feels so personal, because she's actually talking to you, not to any other person.
I've never been a fan of the concept of "one person, one guitar" albums, but I can definitely see why some people are drawn to this. It's definitely very personal, and I know that makes it hard to listen to for some people. But I think it's just really interesting and inspiring to listen to.
