As you can see, the description doesn’t really help me. I have no idea how to read it, what the different “possibilities” are, or how to relate any of this to my own life. This is not a big deal to me, though, because I am very good at using intuition and understanding my own personality type. When I was younger, I would test myself on the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) test, which is based on Jungian analytical psychology. I found that it helped me tremendously in understanding my own characteristics.
The MBTI is a sort of personality astrology, which is the idea that your personality is similar to an astrological sign. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator is divided into sixteen different personality types based on Jung’s theory of psychological types. Each type is significantly different from the others, with different strengths and weaknesses. It then goes on to list examples of each type in a variety of different situations.
