We talked to Jonny from Radiohead about their new album 'The Numbers'
One of the things that you can always expect from Jonny Greenwood is a nice surprise, and this time it was a suggestion he was going to bring out a new album with Radiohead. The band has been recording a lot in the last few years, but this is the first album they've recorded with Jonny at the helm as a band member. It's also the first album he's produced as well.
How did this all come about?
"I wanted to do a solo album because I'd been trying to do that for quite a while. I had some material and I'd been playing with it, and I thought, well what would it be like to invite some other people in? I knew David (Brent) because he'd been playing with my guitar for a couple of years, so I went up to his house in Wales and we started jamming and it sounded like a good idea.
