How did you become a musician?
I would say I became a musician because I was born to do it. I grew up in a musical family and I started writing my own songs at the age of eight. It was the first time that I had ever written a song on my own. I just sat down and wrote the lyrics to a song and then the music came after. It was very exciting because I had never had that experience before and it felt great.
How did you get into acting?
I started acting when I was nine years old. I started acting in school plays and in local theatre that my parents put on at home. I really didn't know that this was a career path for me but it turned out to be because when I was in high school, I auditioned for a play and got cast in the play and then I went on to do other things on stage and then later on, I started doing film work.
Who was the first person you performed with?
My first acting teacher was actually my mother.
