Seerow It's not like I'm trying to be patronising or anything. I just think that you're missing the point of the story.

When you've got a gun to someone's head, you're not thinking about whether they'd raise it again to shoot you, are you? That's pretty much what happens in real life.

And yes, I'm aware that she's not like that, but it's like this: she isn't like that at the beginning of the story, let alone at the end. She's still thinking about it at the end.

No, I'm not missing the point of the story, it's just that if that was the point then I'd like to think that you'd think it was funny instead of real. I mean, I don't fault the author for this, because I'd probably do the same thing if I'd been in her position, but I thought it was pretty funny.
