Nathan is an ENFJ in my book. He's enthusiastic, kind, and helpful, all qualities associated with ENFJs. But he also loves puzzles and games, and he has an understanding of the world that's, well...unusual. Nellie is an INFP, meaning she's quiet and introspective, meaning she probably likes to hide things from people. That doesn't make her bad or malicious, but it does make her someone who's less likely to get along with people who are more direct and outspoken.
Like I said, I don't think Nathan is a sociopath, but I do think he's an INFP at heart.
