I relate to this song because I have experienced the same struggle. I have been with men who are not what I expected them to be, who are damaged, who are broken. I have also been with men who are very strong, with no baggage or baggage at all, who are attractive and who are strong and masculine, but they still aren't worthy of me. And I feel like the singer in this song is fighting against his own demons, fighting to be worthy of someone else, fighting to be wanted, fighting to be normal.
