Mümtaz Tok is a Turkish actor, dubbing artist, voice actor and producer. His father is a direct descendant of Eyyub, the commander of the Janissaries, the elite troops of the Ottoman Empire. Both his parents are actors. Mümtaz Tok has two brothers, Yusuf and Tulay Tok, and a sister, Çiğdem Tok. Tok was born in Istanbul, Turkey. He studied at the Istanbul Technical University's School of Film and Television, graduating in 1999.
Mümtaz Tok's first work as a voice actor was in a short film entitled "Underground Love". His first feature film as a voice actor was in "The Adventures of Pinocchio" in 2002. In 2005, he recorded the voice of Jim Hawkins in the English version of "The Adventures of Pinocchio", a Disney produced animated film based on the classic story of Pinocchio.
