Ghost Fight is a 2D side-scrolling action platformer that takes place in a world where ghosts fight each other for the entertainment of humans. It's the successor to the original Ghost Fight, which was itself a spiritual successor to the Klei-developed Mark of the Ninja.
There's a lot of overlap between the games, and even though it's a 2D side-scroller, you'll find yourself playing Ghost Fight almost like a 3D Metroidvania, albeit with an even higher emphasis on fighting and platforming than we've seen in most of those games.
Of course, not all of this will work for everyone. In fact, there are plenty of people out there who absolutely love both Mark of the Ninja and Ghost Fight, and I'm one of them. People who enjoy Mark of the Ninja might really enjoy Ghost Fight, and vice-versa.
For me, the main draw in Ghost Fight is its fast-paced combat.
