I'm not an INFP, but I understand what you're saying. I find it very hard to believe that one could have a "carpel tunnel" when they are so "heavy" in the mind, but I have noticed that when I have illusory experiences in my sleep, I feel light. Not heavy, but light.
I'm not sure why, but it just seems to be the way it is for me. I also have a hard time believing in being in "the matrix", but that's just me.
People are illusory, including you and me (you know who you are). That is why we don't know our minds. We are like the movie character Neo (in the movie "The Matrix"). You think you know who you are, but you don't. You may think you are here, but you are really there.
It is different for everyone, but I think that is what is happening with the "carpel tunnel". Your mind has put itself to sleep.
It is like when you watch TV or go to sleep and the feeling that you are really there goes away.
