I think I’m INFP, but I've struggled to identify my type for years. The book helped me understand why I feel the way I do, and it allowed me to start making decisions about my life because I could understand why I feel the way I do.
I use the book to help clarify my thoughts and feelings, but sometimes when I need to make important decisions or when I’m in a crisis situation, I use it as a reference book. I can go to the table of contents and see how other people describe their experiences with the same issues.
I use it in conjunction with the MBTI Manual. The difference in these books is that the MBTI Manual gives you an overview of your personality type, while the Cat & Dog personality type book shows you how you made the decisions about your life, which are often very different from one another.
