Christian, Tyler, and their respective bands are (in my humble opinion) some of the most interesting, stylish, and well-written music out there right now. PUPPETS is like a lo-fi hip-hop version of THE WIZARD OF OZ; the lyrics are absurd and playful, the beats are fast and infectious, the production is really clean. Christian's music is more mellow and acoustic-y, but it's still really well written and has a lot of insight.
Tyler's and Christian's music is about as opposite as it can get, but both are about as "in your face" as true hip-hop/rap can get. In Tyler's case, he's like a more mild-mannered but just as rebellious rapper than it his real father, Odd Future's OG: Earl Sweatshirt. Christian is a more mild-mannered but just as rebellious type of rapper who is still very much a product of his environment.
